So I am hitting the “publish button one more time. I put a lot of work into the post & just want it to actually show up on my blog & get out of the wrong file. Thanks for understanding….)

While the “official” Indie Bookstore Day is now postponed until Aug 29th, we are still having an online celebration today to recognize, thank & support our local & independent bookstores! During these difficult times I can tell you that reading (whether physical books or audiobooks) has really helped me get through some tough days.

I listen to audiobooks during the day to help with the stress & anxiety of being isolated for weeks with my overly loud & bored kids, & I have also incorporated daily outloud reading time with them as part of our new homeschooling routine, which I will continue to do even when our official school year ends. Then in the evening when I can sit quietly, I read my physical books.
